Segment No. 177 -- Lk. 24:33-35; I Corin. 15:5

Title:  The Report of the Two Disciples

Lk. 24:33  So they rose up that very hour and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven and those who were with them gathered together.
Lk. 24:34  Saying, “”The Lord is risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon!”
Lk. 24:35  And they told about the things that had happened on the road, and how He was known to them in the breaking of bread.

I Corin. 15:5  And that He was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve.

Among the eleven disciples Peter is the first to see the resurrected Yeshua.  Probably it is for the purpose of comforting him as a result of his earlier denial, and in this manner he can be established again.
